2024 was the third year of the F&MAD Film Festival Asia and it was a great year of diverse student films. There were 12 official selections from U Asia Campus students, many working in drama along with some fun and creative departures into Anime, Mockumentary, and Crime.

Winner of the JURY PRIZE, Best Director, Best Screenplay, and Best Cinematography, Dyne Suh's film It Is What It Is explores the nature of disappointment through a heartfelt conversation between siblings.
Written and Driected by Joshua Sayson's Furnimorphosis was voted Audience Choice at the festival. It's a fun and touching film about true friendship and how it can survive any kind of awkward situation.
Joseph Su put his digital effects skills to work on his film Tic Tac Toe: The Anime and won Best Editing. The film received plenty of laughs and audience votes at the festival, too.
Besides winning Best Performance (Minchan Ju), Dae June Lee's "awkward" vampire romance film, Solitude Syndrome won for Best Sound (Jiwon Shin.).
Haram Jo's touching film about friendship and changing dreams, The Present, won for Best Production Design. Seoeun Lee accepted the prize for her work on that film.
